Is it too late to plant mangelwurzel
for chickens? Pretty late.

What is the trouble with the cherry trees
at Cresleigh? They are losing their leaves.
Tis a blight & many have the same
complaint.

Pop corn seed, Stowels Evergreen sweet corn
seed, broom corn seed & pumpkin
seed were brought for distribution.

The question was asked which the
society preferred, old time, or new
time _ a vote was taken, and the
majority were in favor of the former,
which goes to prove that the Horticultural
is still "holding its own" with
a level-headed, well-balanced majority!!

What makes the Rockland tomatoes
look so terrible? Tis a little late, but
it was thought Pyrax would improve
their condition. It helped the plants
at Brooke Grove.

When is the proper time to plant
late cabbage seeds? About this time.
