The Home Interest met according
to adjournment at Joseph L.
Moore's on June 5th 1875. There was a
good attendance of members, but the
prospect of a storm, which did come
up later in the evening kept several
of our friends away. After the trial
of a new washing machine, which Philip
Stabler worked, very effectively cleansing
some soiled garments, and putting a
bank note under the presence of the
machine, to show the delicate manner
in which the rollers worked, the
meeting was called to order, with Fred
Stabler as foreman. The minutes of the
last meeting, and the last one at Norwood
being read, as the heavy rain presented
