12. We were advised in the cultivation of
spinach not to make the ground too rich,
& cover the seeds lightly.
13 Why do the Hop vines die out when they
get to the top of the poles & the remedy?
The remedy is to have higher poles, but
if it is a fact that they do die in
that way we cannot at present state
the reason.
