B.H. Miller desires some advice regarding the
coming course of Lectures. What he shall
do to make the course attractive? It is advised
to have [three?] good lectures and an entertainment
from the young people. Also to have the
hour of meeting earlier and strictly kept.
Our present secretary being released from her
duties herewith tenders to you her thanks for
your kind forbearance, and cheerfully
presents the implements of office to her happy
successor Beulah L. Thomas, her husband He was badly misunderstood volunteering
to aid her in her work so we shall all
expect some very good minutes, as we never before
have boasted of an assistant sec.

voting on the names of John & Kate Thomas
proposed for membership.
