My Dear Grandmother
Grandfather asked us
if we could not like to write to thee,
and we said we would like it very much.
Mother and father
went to Mr. Joseph Moore's and they said
they liked their house very much.
As they were going, they left the
baby at Stanmore with the girls, as they went
on, and they said they thought she
was the sweetest baby in the world,
and kept her so that mother did
not have any trouble with her.
When Cousin Ellen took her in
