Since our last meeting
at Norwood , our host has
very ingeniously converted an
old chicken house into a
neat practical greenhouse ,
which is in service now
as a cold frame, with
handsome lettuce and
other plants growing nicely.
No arrangement has been
made for artifical [Seating?]
but it is readily adaptable
to winter use as well.
Our host was anxious for
our advice with regard to
the reconstruction of a
pig pen and also with regard
to a large pile of mouldy
corn in the corn house.
As we took no walk our
advice in the meeting was not
much more than a combination
of snap judgements - a fleeting
