Enterprise Club met at Norwood residence of Mr Joseph T Moore Sept 30th 1876 Thirteen members present. The first general appearance of farm buildings was of everything hit order and well kept up. After organising we proceeded on our usual tour of inspection & first were attracted by various pig pens & found both pens & their occupants in proper condition corn as far as well and some wheat sown.

8 cows were being milked & looked well were making 40 lbs per week which however is not enough considering the attention bestowed. If credit can be given to some wonderful cows we hear of at the centennial exhibition

R B Farquhar reports 9 sheep killed by dogs. What to use as waste paper for cistern. brick & cement

Is best to take 40 ct per lb for butter all year round delivered in Washington Yes What is Timothy hay crop 60 tons worth delivered in Washington one load per week! Mostly say 75c per hundred

111 Oct 28^th1876 5 OClockP .M. Enterprise Club met at W^m W Moore's The Sec being absent Beny H Miller appointed SEC pro tem. Asa M Stabler appointed Foreman, Eight members only present viz. W W Moore A M Stabler M F Bond E P Thomas Gran Farquhar R B Farquhar C H Brooke & B H Miller The other half of our members were busly digging potatoes or Saving the Country in Some other way . Having no minutes to read we started to inspect the premises & first noticed herd of handsome cows, some 12 pounders amongst the numbers & then noticed two very fine Poland China hogs & some handsome pigs of same breed & near dairy another lot of Berkshires . We then examined the new [?] stanchions & then returned to the house & after Supper at which we had to do double duty on acct of our absent members, the following questions were asked and answered 1^st would you plow for corn now 4 aff neg 4 2^ndWould you put up [?] or comon stanchions [?] yes 3 no 3 Dont Know 43^th Shall I house corn or plow,^ansHouse corn 4 What work should a Tenant do in liming
