Which is the best Wheat Drill ?
This is a question which I donot believe
our club are prepared to answer at this
time; as eight kinds were mentioned, all
good, but none perfect
Will it be too soon to commence sowing
wheat on the 25.th? 7 say yes 3 no
What is worth [per?] acre to cut corn wide
for sowing wheat between shooks ? 11 say 1.00, 1 .90
Would you shovel wheat ground before drilling?
this question brought forth considerable discussion
and disclosed the fact that 10 of those present
were not in favour of it, to 2 that were
adjourned to [Sam?] Hopkins

The number '134' is stamped in blue ink at the top left-hand corner of the page.
On line 9 the '#' after '25' is from the top line down.
Again the 'th's on line 17 are from the top of the line down.
On line 17, after the 'm' in the name 'Sam', the cursive from the end of the letter 'm'
tails up to the middle of the line to make what looks like the letter c. I have noticed this
same peculiarity in other names the author has penned.
