Dear Sir,
The money is now in
the Patapsco Bank of Maryland waiting the presentation
of Thomas Lansdale's vote in your favour for $2,686.67
payable on the 14 January 1844 presuming it may not be
convenient for you to present it at once I have calculated
the interest to the 1st August next and make the amount
that will then be due $2,502.50. be pleased to present
the note for payment on or before that day when B.W.
Campbell Esq cashier will pay you $2,166.67 with interest
from 1st January 1840 - The interest on the above named
note will of course cease from 1st August 1842.
