______ Johnson (colored) brought his wife "Lizzie
Johnson (cook at Robt Stabler's) for advice & medicine
I went to the mill & got horse feed. Afternoon Edwd
took some of the boys from next door & went to "Riverside"
for a bath. Sister H came from Avalon &
Alice Peirce came & took her to "Fairfield" to
make a visit. Henry Powell (son of Sarah Jane
Powell) was here for advice & medicine.
After supper I went up to the store & P.O.

Ther. 70° Wednesday 5th,, S.W.Wind.

Mrs Hazen brought little Harry to me
suffering with "mashed fingers." Old "Uncle
Henson" called to see me. Lydia A Budd
sent for some medicine. Afternoon
Edwd & Dora drove over to "Riverside"
to take some letters to Sister H.
I walked up to the store both before &
after supper.

Ther. 70° Thursday SEPT. 6th, 1894 Wind.

Edwd took Hilles & Frank Robinson in
the phaeton to the "Fair" at Rockville, starting
from here at 6-45 a.m. I went to "Riverside"
to see Bro. Richard again, driving
Chas Shaw's horse & buggy calling at Ashton
as I returned. Colored girl (Mary Thomas)
was here to see me whilst I was away.

Ther.71 Friday 7th Wind.

J Fletcher Clark was here for advice
& medicine. I drove down to Ashton for
medicine. Mrs Robison was in to see me
Sisters Harriet & Lizzie called for awhile
this morning. Edwd & Frank Robison
washed the phaeton for me. J Henderson
set up a "flour packer" in his mill, which
will save the labor of one hand, besides
doing the work better than when done
by hand. After supper I rode "Frank"
up to the Village to water him and take
the milk can.
