Clear -
Ther 65 Monday June 4,th 1894. S.W. Wind.

Much warmer than for some
time past. Willie came back from
taking the "Bess" mare home, going to
E. Peirces for the plaeton, which he had
left there last night having driven it
over to Mr: Mathew's yesterday. Afternoon
he trimmed the hedge nicely. I
used Henderson's lawn mower to cut
over the grass around the house.
James Johnson (of Jnow W) was here
& had a tooth extracted. Miss Alice
Tyson called with the Halowell boys
for advice for one of them. After supper
W. went to E. Peirces: Philip T Stabler
was here in the afternoon.

{Thunder-storm between 10 o'clk & midnight. heavy thunder & lightning}

Cloudy & Thunder -
Ther. 60° Tuesday 5th V ariable Wind.

We had a succession of thunder storms
after 10. o clock last night, until after
daylight this a.m. Willie came home
at breakfast time, ("Fanny bringin him)
She then took him over to Riverside to get
another horse to drive with "Frank" & take Charley
to "Hazeldene": their-Mother-went with them: she
being anxious to see our grand children; never
having seen the youngest ("Catharine"): they
expect to return to night. I hope it will not rain
or storm before they come home. Edwd & I planted
out 50 more sweet potatoes plants. Harriet and
Willie reached home about 6-30 p.m.
as we were at supper, having got along
nicely. They left Charley at "Hazeldean"

Cloudy & Rain -
Ther.48 Wednesday June 6,th 1894, N.W. & N E Wind.

Raw & disagreeable & towards noon commenced
for a settled rain. Willie left for
Loudoun Co, VA about noon taking "Frank" and
the phaeton to "Silver Spring" where he will
take the Electric cars to Washington and
from there to Purcellville. Hilles Robison
went with him to bring the horse back
and got home again at 5-30 p.m. It has
been an extremely dull raw disagreeable
rainy day. After supper went up to the
store.

Ther. 45: Thursday 7th N.W. Wind.

Beautiful morning after the rain
but quite cool, with strong N.W. wind
J. Collie brought his wife to the office for advice
& medicine. "(Fanny Collie") is her name
they live on Benj D Palmer's place. Afternoon
Edwd took the "Bess" mare home to Riverside
taking "Frank" with him to ride home. I walked
down to Ashton & also up to Sandy spring.
