Left Dr. Koerper's after breakfast
&went to sister Harriet's.
where I remained all day
enjoying the society of sister
H, Miss Panevast & Herbert
and watching the patients
in the "Kirkbride Asylum," the
grounds of which are overlooked
from the windows of the sitting
room at H's house.

Left sister H's 4239 Powelton
Av: W Philada after breakfast,
Herbert went me to "Broad St,
Station" from there I left for Balto
in the 8-31. Express, reached the
Union Depot. & crossed over to Camden
Station & took the 12-15 train
for "Laurel", where Willie met
me. We reached home at 3-45
p.m. finding all well. I have
had a delightful week's trip
and am glad to be at home
once more. E Gilpin brought
a roll of "matting" (40 yds) from
Laurel on the stage to having
come from "Wannamacker's" in
Philadelphia. on Saturday last.
