33 Cloudy Windy N.W. NOVEMBER, SATURDAY 12th 1887.

Very high wind all last night and all day today I drove over to R R Moore's Bros' Jos Paxon & Chas dined with us, Lavinia Hood was here for advice & med: for herself. Afternoon I drove to Ashton for tea sugar cheese etc.

35 Clear. N.W. NOVEMBER, SUNDAY 13th 1887.

Willie drove both horses to the carriage to Laurel and met his sister on her return from Philada where she has been for the past nine weeks, she came to Baltimore yesterday where Charley met her & took her to his boarding house & after tea to hear the "Minstrels" and saw her safely in the cars to day at Camden Station 1-20 p.m. for Laurel. We are very glad to have her at home again.

32o Cloudy. S.E NOVEMBER, MONDAY 14th 1887.

Willie went to husking corn again. Bro R. called for advice & med: or prescription. Mrs Mary G & Miss Alice Tyson were here for advice & med: for the latter. I drove down to see John Cook on Dr F Thomas's place before dinner. Afternoon I rode the little mare over to R. Roland Moore's & home just before dark: whilst we were at supper there was a "fire" to be seen in the S.E. not very far off and looked like buildings on fire. It commenced raining about dark. Lydia Thomas brought her little daughter to me to have something done for "tooth ache".

41. Cloudy & Clearing W. NOVEMBER, TUESDAY 15 1887.

The fire we saw last evening proved to have been some old straw stacks on one of the "Holland's" places back of Wm F Thoma's drove to Ashton & got Edwd a pair of shoes & some articles for H. Wm alias "Billy"Johnson & wife brought their little boy for advice & med: Willie went to husking corn again early. Afternoon George Fuller was here for advice & medicine for his wife. The weather partly cleared off with strong Westerly winds again. I sent Edward up to the store for "breakfast bacon" and soap for his mother: after tea he went over next door to play "games" with the children there.

34 Clear N.W. NOVEMBER, WEDNESDAY 16th 1887.

Beautiful day. Bro Joseph & Lizzie called for an hour or two Bro J having copied for me a complete "Geniological chart & record. Alice & Fanny Peirce came to make Dora a visit. I drove down to Robt Blair's before dinner calling at S.S. store where two Post Office inspectors were "overhauling" the P.O. affairs. Willie still husking corn & "Phil & Frank" helping him. Towards evening Willie went to Dan Bank's & brought his horse home with him, and engaged Frank Snowden's wagon & harness to go again to Elton tomorrow for more corn for the horses.

37o Cloudy & Clearing Variable NOVEMBER, THURSDAY 17th 1887.

Geo: Fuller was here for medicine for his wife before I was up. Willie took "Fritz" & Banks mare & went to Frank Snowdens and taking his wagon went to Elton & brought home two barrels of corn, reaching home just at dark after which he took the wagon home. Philip T Stabler's team brought us two cords of pine wood. Alice & Fannie Peirce left for home after breakfast & Willie took them from Ashton the rest of the way home in the wagon.

34o Cloudy. S.E. NOVEMBER, FRIDAY 18th 1887.

Willie went to husking corn again. Afternoon Bros Jos: Paxson & Chas: were here the former remained whilst bro C took his horses and had them shod. Mrs Mary G Tyson & daughter were here again for advice & med: for the latter. After dinner Willie took Bank's mare home, & aftr tea he went to Mechanicsville to his lodge, riding the brown mare. I slept badly last night and feel quite unwell today. feeling old & low spirited. having suffered with rheumatic pains in my shoulders & arms more than usual

37o Cloudy & Rain N.E. NOVEMBER, SATURDAY 19th 1887.

Snowed just enough to shew on the roofs & fences about daylight. Willie went to the field to husk corn but it commenced raining and drove him in before he could finish the field. Towards evening W. went again to the corn field and nearly finished before dark. I drove down to Ashton for coal oil, tea etc. The roads are sloppy & muddy, and altogather it has been a dark dull day. raw & chilly.

29o Cloudy & Snow. N.E. NOVEMBER, SUNDAY 20th 1887.

Ground covered with snow for the first time this season Bro Richard called on his way home from meeting & took Dor with him to Riverside. Afternoon rode the mare for exercise. I drove over to Riverside towards evening and brought Dora home. John Link was here for advice & medicine for "chills", he was here wen I returned from Riverside and it was dark before he left. The snow continued to ly on the fields all day the thermometer not being above 35 at any time.

22o Clear. N.W. NOVEMBER, MONDAY 21st 1887.

The coldest morning we have had & continued "wintry" all day. I drove to Ashton & had new shoes put on "Fritz" hind feet. Willie finished the "corn husking" & made a new "saw back" for Mrs: Robison I drove down to Dr Frank Thomas's & prescribed again for Jno: Cook. Wrote and mailed letter to F Tyson. H wrote to Charley & Nelly.
