Church in the carriage driving
"Fritz". Afternoon he
drove "Kate" to "Riverside"
in the buggy. Bro Richard
called on his way to meeting.

Unusually dark dull
day. Afternoon Lavinia Hood
was here & paid her bill.
Miss Fanny Davis wrote me
a note enquiring as to the
propriety of Annie Bulwar's
coming to school, it having
been reported that "Scarlet
fever" was in their family.
Jno "Shipley") was here. Willie
took Miss Hartly home after
school. I walked up to the
store for coal oil &c.
