Ashton & had zinc pan
made for the reel of the
squirrel cage Willie & John brought about 200 lbs of hay, on
the spring wagon from John C
Bentley's. J J Shoemaker's team
brought us a cord of oak wood
& promised to bring another on
Monday next, to settle Jim
Johnson's account. Recd:
telegraphic despach from J.
Tyson after dinner, and
he arrived here at 5.25 pm from Laurel, Mills tend
sending him up.

Fine winter day.
I staid at home all day.
Charley took T.Tyson to
Riverdale. Willie also
rode over to have a
"skate". Walter Scott
called & got some Ext
Eucalyptic, promising
to return it. I suffered
with a very bad headache
all day.
