night, and this morning it
is cold, & the ground frozen
hard again. After noon
Willie rode the roan mare
to Elton to spend the night.
Charley & Frank Snowden
expecting to go after night
after the store closes.
Emeline Hopkins here &
paid me $1.00 she owed
me.

Sarah Jane Powells daughter
here for advice & medicine for
"sore throat." I rode "on Fritz" over to
Columbus Warfield's & prescribed
for his wife. Margt.
Botts, who lives at Uncle Chas
Draytons was here for advice
& medicine. Cloudy dull
and disagreeable all day.
Besides being raw & cold
Willie got home after dark
whilst we were at supper.
Charley having gone to
"Riverside" with Ernest
He reached home at 11.45
