which prostrates me greatly.
drove over to Mrs Scott's and to
N. Fulford. Suffered much with
the heat. Charley went away
to Scott's &c after tea.

Very warm - Went to Ed:
Davis' to prescribe for infant
Also drove to "Ashton"

After tea Charley, Dora
Willie & I went to Homewood
and witnessed the wedding of
Harriet Chandlee and
Ed: N Bentley: home by 10pm
after which Charley &
some other foolish young people
went over to Walls & Roads &
gave the bride & groom a
serenade. home at after
three in the morning -

Thursday Friday 16th
Mrs Knight, E Davis people,
Jno Ed: Hills' daughter here for
advice &c Remus Hills daughter
to have a bad tooth extracted.
I drove to Olney Grange &
to Mechanicsville church
to attend a funeral of Dr J
Wilson Macgruder who died
in the Grange building after
a sudden & short illness
Afternoon Chas Dora and Tacy met
[them?] & some N Fulford people
went to Saml Hopkins to
an archery meeting.
A. Walters brought us hay.
