today. I don't expect to see
any thing of [Sandy?] for weeks - it
seems so strange for me not
to be able to do anything I want
to in the way of physical
exercise. I think the absolute
quiet is what I need. I do miss
thee so much, but I feel that we
have done right, and like Bobbin
I think when you do that every
thing will be well. I hope she
keeps cool in the shadow - it has
been fresh, and fires have
not been unwelcome.
Jean and I send thee love
unspeakable. There is no danger
of his forgetting thee, dear, don't
fear - he has a most loyal &
tender love for [Popertie?]. It seems
so lonely when I wake at night
not to feel thee by me.
Thine always Margie.
