My Dear Polly I may inform thee that I Have enjoyed pretty good Health considering my weakly situation and the sickliness of the season Caleb Bently Has Had a very sick family with the flue but they seem much better Sally Has had it but has got so well as to ride up here She is not quite well as she has some fevor every evening tho goes about and rides out we were at Wm Stablers yesterday they were well and seems quite satisfied with their new Home and I Hope there is no danger of their not doing very well if blessed with health. I cannot tell thee yet when to Look for me there as we have such extreme Hot weather but I often think the time very tedious in Hearing from thee so seldom and as My Brother can inform of any pertiqular that thee may want to have makes it the less nesary for me to write much tho may of inform thee that He has made a satisfactory acknowledgement and is reinstated in society - I am with best love and wishes for you both my afft Mother Mary Brooke
