I am glad Mr Ahrens'
Christmass present was one that
will help you along a little, and
obliged to thee, for what thee sent
to us. There is very little change
in Mother, she lays and sleeps
most of her time, when she awakes
is rational, but extremely weak.

I will not write again until
a change occurs.
