Thomas and Frank had a very cold
ride up in a slay, I think they came
up in about 2 hours. F seems quite
well, Thomas is suffering from a bad
headache caused probably by the cold.
Tell Sammie that Henry Miller
sent us a very fine turkey for our
Christmas dinner. He said as his
turkeys had roamed over our place
so much, the least he could do was
to give us one for our Christmas dinner.
We were sorry that his friend Sammie
and some of the rest of you could not have
been here to help eat it. Henry does
not like being at Swarthmore half
so well as being at home.
