Home 4th mo 18 1872

My dear Isaac, Charly dined with us yesterday I suppose he is now on his way to to the Lehigh Vally University he told me he did not expect to come back to Haverford after this session I told him about the adverisement. Which I enclose and asked him if he would like to continue thene in that way and he said he would. Jane and I has been thinking about it and were wishing we could have the privelege no one knows who the students are who go on this fund but the professors - Henry thinks they would take Charley altho he is not a friend and would like thee to write immediately and let us know if you are willing and he will speak to Samuel Gomene. no time should be lost in attending to it Charley said thee and

his mother both had headache and were not well. I am sorry I feel much for you, and have no doubt anxiety of mind has something to do with the headache _ they seem to be having an interesting yearly meeting & your sister attends all the time. I do not venture out no doubt I should enjoy it but I have unnumbered blessings, and dare not complain of any privation.

This is dividend week at the LVRR and your brother Charles is too busy to get to meeting. he expressed his regret. he expects to go to Washington next week on business, and wishes to take Carrie who is not well, and he thinks the change will do her good. he has been trying for a year past to attend to this business but could not get off. give my love to Anne and to Mary Annis. I write in haste thy affectionate mother A.H.
