1922 8th. mo. 7th. 2d. day Supper to the "Home Interest." Marjorie and family here to supper. Ethel Janney, Isabel and little Helen Moore here to call late in the afternoon.

8th. 3d. day Thermometer 70 at 7/30 oclock. A shower of rain in the night. Emily Massey. Louisa Sudlon and daughter called here in the morning. Frank and Fanny went to the Grange; called at the Hospital. hard rain about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and again a little after 8 oclock. Doris Lea came to stay all night.

9th 4th day Themometer 58 at 7 oclock. Cool day: Frank away all day, at an Anti saloon League meeting at Gaithisburg. Three ladies from Cherry Grove here in the evening.

1922. 8th. mo 10th. 5th. day Thermometer 60 at 7 oclock; 80 in the afternoon; bright most of the day Frank and Fanny went to Bank in the morning; and to the "Neighbors" at Drayton in the evening; Lucy and Doris here after Supper.

11th. 6th. day Thermometer 62 at 7/30 oclock. Miss Creaser here late in the afternoon. Frank went to the District line in the afternoon to meet Edward coming from Washington.

12th. 7th. day Thermometer 62 at 8 o'clock 67 at 12 o'clock Cool and cloudy all day, until evening, then bright; Dr. Bussler, Anna and Elsie Stabler came in the afternoon; Marjorie here awhile in the evening. Frank and Fanny went to "Alloway" to the wedding of Dorothy Brooke, at 7 oclock.

1922. 8th.mo. 13th. 1st. day Thermometer 66 at 8 oclock Cloudy most of the day; Dr. Bussler and Anna out awhile in the morning; Samuel and Miriam here in the evening; Some rain after night.

14th. 2nd. day Thermometer 68 at 7 oclock. Cloudy most of the day, a little rain in the afternoon Anna went home in the afternoon Bright sunset.

15th. 3rd. day Thermometer 70 at 7 oclock. Bright day I went to Chorly Forest in the morning to spend several days.

16th. 4th. day Thermometer 80 at 9 oclock. Thunder clouds passed over in the afternoon then bright again. Dr. Moore his wife & child dined at Ingleside.

1922. 8th. mo. 17th. 5th. day Thermometer 70 at 7 oclock; Bright all day; quite warm in the afternoon. I went with Mr. & Mrs. Douney to Rockville in the morning for peaches; in the afternoon Mrs. Downey and Mary brought me home, first calling at the Cottage.

18th. 6th. day Thermometer 70 at 7 oclock. 84 in the afternoon. Fanny spent most of the day at Glynden. Samuel and Miriam called about noon on their way to the funeral of Harry Holland's wife; they brought Fanny home later.

19th. 7th. day Thermometer 72 at 7 oclock. 84 in the afternoon. Bright most of the day; beautiful sunset.

1922. 8th. mo. 19th. 7th. day Graham Stabler called here in the morning; Frank called at Fair Hill in the morning went with Edward to their Club at Sunny-Side in the evening. Fanny called to see Miss Ball, and at Lucy's after supper.

20th. 1st. day Thermometer 62 at 8 oclock; Bright all day. Frank and Fanny went to meeting in the morning and in the afternoon called to see Virginia Steer and at Mrs Barkers. Marjorie and family here awhile late in the afternoon. Very windy all day.

21st. 2nd. day Thermometer 58 at 7 oclock. Bright and cool all day; Fanny sick. Dr. Bird here to see her in the evening:
