8th. 6th.day Thermometer 66 at 7/30. Cloudy most of the day. Fanny went to Washington to the Columia Hospital; Elsie, Miriam Edward and Nelllie went with her, they got home about 2 oclock. Frank went to his club at the "Highland" with Edward; Nellie here to Ashton
9th. 7th.day Thermometer 70 at 8 oclock. Fanny was operated on in the afternoon, favorable accounts. Samuel and Miriam, Lucy and Doris all here after supper. The Threshing machine came in the afternoon, to be ready to thresh 2d. day;

11th. 2d.day Thermometer 72 at 8 oclock; 80 in afternoon; a thunder shower after sundown; Threshed wheat here in the morning, then went to Auburn. Frank went to Olney in the afternoon to vote took Marjorie to Brookville to vote on the primeries. Heard favorable news from Fanny.
