5^th 2^d day
Clear and warm. The men
finished hauling in wheat
by 4 oclock; three extra men
here to dinner. We were at
home all day until after tea
we went to Harewood awhile
to see the fireworks; cousin
Margaret Hallowell came home
with us to stay all night;
Frank brought his girls and
Isabel Stabler up to go to Harewood
too. Caleb Miller, his
wife and child called here
in the morning.
