Cloudy all day. rain after night I went from Hermon to
Olney in the morning.

18^th 4^th day
Cloudy all day with rain at night. I came home from
Olney, at meeting: Joe at meeting: William at Ingleside
all morning: a Library meeting here in the afternoon
Esther and Anna Wetherold, Rachel Gilpin, Ellen Farquhar
and Frances Stabler here: Lucy at the store
and Gennie Moore's awhile in the afternoon.

19^th 5^th day
Cleared off before 9 oclock: father and William both
went to Laurel, father at Avondale. Alice Brooke spent
the day here: Gennie Moore, Gene Fawcett, and Mary
Thomas here to supper: Lizzie Tyson called awhile in
the afternoon: Lucy went to the Reading Club and
to the cottage from there

Clear and w 20^th 6^th day
Clear and warm: I went to Uncle Samuels in the
afternoon: Lucy went from the Cottage to see Hannah
Briggs, in the afternoon, and home to supper: father
at the building in the morning painted the dining
room doors in the afternoon. William went to Washington
