Mrs. Coulter moved that Mrs. Bancraft be appointed to cast
the ballot, the motion was seconded and carried. Mrs. Bancroft
cast a ballot in favor of the slate and the new officiers
were declared dully elected to take office in May.

Mrs. Troy drew our attention to various bills now before
the state legislature connected with control of roadside
conditions especially along the new main highways. It was
suggested that as individuals we write to our representatives
advocating these measures.

Announcements were made of a luncheon at the fire house
on the last Friday in February, and a pancake supper for
the benefit of St. John's church on February 25th, also at
the fire house.

All members were advised to be on time for the next
meeting, which was to be at the Community House with Mrs.
Herbert Adams as hostess and the Wednesday Club Players as
entertainers. The meeting then adjourned.
