Be it remembered that on this 15th day of October
1886 the Common Council of the City of Seattle
meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to law:
The following officers are present to wit:

following proceedings were had to wit:
The minutes of the previous meetings were
read and approved.
Petitions & Communications
Petition of D.W. West et al for street lights on south Eighth Street at the intersection of King,
Water, and Lane Streets.
Referred to Committee on Street Lights
Petition of R.H. Denny et al for a sewer on Front
Street
between Pike and Union Streets.
Referred to Committee on Sewers & Drainage
Petition of A. J. Henrich for permission to use a
portion of Grant Street for building purposes.
Referred to Street Committee.
Petition of L. Diller praying that he be permitted
to keep the sidewalk iin front of Lot 1 Block 6
Denny's addition
in good repair, and not be
completed to build a new sidewalk until next
spring when petitioner proposes to build a stone
wall in front of said premises and build a new
sidewalk. Referred to Street Committee
Petition of L. Diller et als praying for the repeal of
Ordinance No 767 Known as the High License ordi-
nance. Referred to the Committee on
License and Renewal.
