The Atty submits an Ordinance entitled "To prevent the unauthorized
interference with Water Pipes, metrs, plugs and stop cocks." After
due consideration said ordinance is adopted upon the following vote
to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Harrington, Northrup, Rine-
hart, Snyder, Sox & Yesler. Against adoption none.
The attorney submits as Ordinance entitled "To amend Section
"1 of Ordinance No 290" After due consideration said ordinance
is adopted upon the following voteto wit: In favor of adoption Clancy,
Harrington, Latimer, Northrup, Rinehart, Snyder, Sox & Yesler.
Against adoption none.
The Atty submits an ordinance entitled "To amend Sec
Twelve (12) of Ordinance No 344" After due consideration said ordinance
is adopted upon the following vote to wit: In favor
of adoption Clancy, Harrington, Latimer, Northrup, Rinehart, Snyder,
Sox & Yesler. Against adoption none.
An Ordinance is submitted entitled "A special Ordinance appro-
priating money to pay audited bills" Adopted upon the following
voteto wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Harrington,Latimer,
Northrup, Rinehart, Snyder, Sox & Yesler. Against adoption none.
Miscellaneous
A communication is rec'd from the Board of fire Delegates
announcing that Danl McKen had been elected Chief of the
Fire Department, thereupon said appointment is approved
Ordered that a Comtee to wit: Councilmen Latimer, Yesler,
Snyder, Harrington, His Honor the Mayor by & is hereby
appointed to examine into the troubles in the Fire Department.
Ordered that the matter of a salary for the chief of the Fire
Department is hereby referred to the fire Comtee.
Any now by reason of S B Vrooman ceasing to be a Justice
of the Peace in Jan 5, 1885, the Council proceeds to an election
to fill the vacancy thereto exist in the offices of City Justice. Whereupon
G A Hill a Justice of the Peace for King Cunty duly
elected at the last General Election for County Offices
