Board of Aldermen of the City of Seattle 155 Dec. 17th 1890 Board of Aldermen Bill 36 introduced "An Ordinance to disperse with the present detective force, now being a part of the Police Force of the City of Seattle." Bill read 1st & 2nd time and referred to Committee on Health & Police.

A motion was made to adjourn until Friday morning at 7:30 o'clock P.M. December 19th A. D. 1890 carried.
