Mr President

Your Committee of Judiciary to whom was referred all ordinances prohibiting any Corporation City Official or any individual from enacting or Transferring any Public work on any legal Holiday or Sunday Have had the same under consideration and beg leave to make the following expect your Committee find after making a careful examination of the proposed ordinance - that the same is in conflict with City Charter - and is also unconstitutional so far as relates to franchises and the far future of the same - and your Committee would recommend the Ordinance be indefinatley postponed - all of which is most respectfully submitted.
