6th That said assessment and sale
were illegal and void, and that the
execution of a deed by this City
to said Howe or his assigned
will be an injury to said
First Christian Church and will
cast a cloud upon the title to
said property.
Wherefore your petitioner prays
that the said assessment and sale
be by you declared illegal
and void; that the sum paid by said
Howe for said lot be refunded to
him; that the said Howe surrender
to this city the Certificate of Sale of
said Lot 7 Block 55 D T Dennys
Home Addition to the City of Seattle;
and then your honorable body order
that no deed issue to said Howe
or his assigns.
