To the Honorable Mayor and Council of
the City of Seattle. We as property owners
on the west side of Eighth St between King Street
and Wiland St. We are referring in the
condition unpassable for the public to
travel. We feel a great damage to our
Business. for that street to remain in
that shape. Therefore we request to
the Hon City Council that they may
agree to let the grade be done according
to the last survey which was agreed
on Aug 27 as we object on the west side
of Eighth St to have it grade changes
which the petition is before the City Council
to have the grade changes. As we under-
stand if that petition is granted we
shall claim damages. as it will
injure our property. We trust to the
Hon Maayor and council that they investigate
this matter closely and do justice to all of
us and get the street in condition for
travel as soon as possible
