To the Mayor and Council of the
City of Seattle
Come now your petitioners and
respctfully represent that on the 16th
day of October 1893, a certain auctioneer's
license numbered 265, for the period
of twelve months from said date, was
issued to them in the names of J G
Raine and M M Frederick. that all
sales under the authroity of said
license have been discontinued and
the rights of the license assigned to
your petitioners.
Wherefore your petitioners pray
that the comptroller be authorized to
substitute in said license the names
of M Rosenthal and N Friedman, or
that a new license may issues to them
for the remaining priod in con-
sideration for the surrender thereof.
