Gentlemen:-
The undersigned residents and householders in Broadway
and DeForest St. north of Madison Street, are much in need of street lights, and of
a policeman to watch their premises, and protect the same against
mauraders and burglers. We feel that we are entitled to have the
same conveniences and protection extended to us that other residents
of the city enjoy, in the particulars mentioned, and we earnestly
request that you will provide them forthwith.
