Columbia Wash Nov 12th 1895
The Town Council met pursuant
to call of the Mayor. Special meeting being called
for the purposes of electing a Marshal and Clerk having resigned
Mayor Pierson presiding
present Groat, Calder and Kelso:
On motion the appointment of A H Hepler
by the Marshal as Deputy in his absence
was confirmed and Appointment & Oath
of officer placed on file.
On motion J A Kelso was appointed
as Clerk and Oath of Office Filed.
J A Kelso being elected Town Clerk
Tendered his resignation as councilman
and on Motion was read and accepted:
On motion meeting adjourned

of considering Platt offered by Mr. Fisher agt of
Oregon Trust Co. Mayor Presodong
Present Groat Calder andAlmquist:
Mr Fisher agt for the Oregon Loan & Trust Co
offered Platt for the consideration of the council
which was examined and on motion was
laid over until the next regular meeting: On motin
the City Attorney was instructed to draft an
Ordinance for the action of the council
pertaining to the new platts and additions:
