Columbia May 2nd, 1893
The Town Council met pursuant to adjournment Mayor
C P Hutchinson presiding. The following Councilmen
present: Hellenthal, Willacy & Voland.
The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion
approved.
Ordinance #28 Relating to the letting of Contracts
for the erection and repair of Public buildings and
Works and the manner of letting said contracts.
Read and passed by the Council and approved by
the Mayor.
A resolution relating to the manner of advertising
for bids for the two thousand feet of 3 in pipe, and
the couplings and elbows for the connecting the same.
read and on motion accepted as read.
Motion made and carried to appoint Joseph
Hellenthal as superintendent of the Water Works
System.
Motion made and carried to adjourne to
meet Monday 8th 1893
