Forenoon commenced with light showers :
5 Carpenters started work
Heavy rain about mid.day
Willie Fiji came over from Matupi with
letter from Mr Thul
When rain cleared off about 36 M self went over
to Matupi to see about the recruits.
Arranged that Dunphy take them over to
Herbertshohe in the Chloe to be signed on
by Mr Wolff on Monday both Luggers going over
to Karawia in the morning after taking in
2 weeks stores and some things that are
required for the slip.
Went back to Karawia again in the
evening.
