Commissr Barney Requesting authority to proceed against M Power for quarrying on Crown Land
Morton [sic] Bay, March 22 1851
Sir -
With reference to my communication of the 17th March Instant applying for an Authority to prosecute a Man of the name of Power for quarrying stone without authority. I have the honor to state for your information that the Man's name is Michael Power and not William as mentioned in my first application. You will therefore do me the honor of transmitting me an authority to prosecute in that name or if it has already been forwarded in the name of William give me authority to alter the Christian name
