I beg to lay before you a statement concerning the conduct of Mr Jamison Clerk of the Bench Maryboro. ..................1st For taking out of the lock up a man placed there for ill using the Police in the execution of their duty ..................2nd For absenting himself from his duty from the 25th July to the 11th Novr during which time the police were imable[sic:unable] to get their pay ..................3rd How he has disposed of the Public money such as fines particularly those given over by Mr. Westmacott who acted during his absence - ...................4th As a Government officer if allowed to be a gambler and a drunkard to get in debt. And continually in a state of Insubordination ...................5th That the conduct of Mr Jamison be investigated
