Christopher Rolleston's atrocious handwriting has stumped me again. Can anyone decipher the top two words (and also the first word), please?

Les

Is it "Public convenience"?

Bartie

Oh public is good. I'd come up with convenience, but thought it might be "further" (with a sloppy ending).? That's what I've put in there for now.

Les

"Adding" ?

Cursivefancier

Thanks Les and Bartie. I think it is "tending to the Public Conveniences." I hope he goes back to just signing a clerk's letter again soon!

Bartie

Good one! That sounds perfectly reasonable...exactly what Rolleston would say!
