Sir,
I do myself the honor to
inform you, that I started
Lieutenant Fulford on the
10th August with 9 troopers
his own native orderly and
two supernumeraries, direct for
Surat, Ballonne river.
2. From letters received from
that quarter I hear that
Mr Mcpherson's station on
the Fitzroy Downs had been
burnt and that it was
expected Mr Hall's station
would be attacked on the 16th [?]
August, Mr Fulford would
probably arrive there on the 15th
