Sir,
I am desired by His Excellency the Governor to acquaint you,
that He is pleased to authorise and require you to prefer an information
in writing, under and in pursuance of the Imperial Act of the 9th and
10th of Her present Majesty, Cap. CIV., intituled, “An Act to amend
"an Act for regulating the Sale of Waste Land belonging to the Crown
"in the Australian Colonies, and to make further provision for the
"management thereof,“ against James Hammond
of Grabben Gullen Creek
for being in the unlawful occupation of Waste Lands of the Crown, situated
on the Grabben Gullen Creek in the
County of King in the District
of Goulburn in this Colony.
His Excellency is further pleased to authorise and require you
to sue for such penalty or penalties as the said James
Hammond has incurred under the fourth
section of the same Act, for and in respect of such unlawful occupation
of the said Crown Lands.
