Sir

I beg leave respectfully to bring
before the notice of your Excellency
the following circumstances.

That I received from your
Excellency an appointment
as Clerk in the Post Office Department
nearly two years since for
which I beg to acknowledge
my gratitude; and during
the whole of which time I
have performed the duties of
Situation to the entire satisfaction
(as he frequently assured me)
of the Head of this Department.
