Duncan Cameron Green, heroic victim of yellow fever in Greenville, Mississippi 1880 Awarded LL.D. by his Alma Mater, the University of North Carolina 1883 February 24th - the Rev. Hugh Miller Thompson consecrated Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Mississippi 1885 Author of Memoir of Rt. Rev. James Hervey Otey 1887 February 13th - died in Sewanee, Tennessee, in his 89th year February 17th funeral and burial in Jackson, Mississippi.
