4. Graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1824. Was director
of the Wilmington and Weldon R.R. and Senior Warden of St. James
Church in Wilmington, N.C.

5. Graduated from Princeton University in 1767. Appointed by the President
of the United States as Fort Physician for Wilmington, N.C. Senior
Warden of St. James Church, Wilmington, N.C.

6. Became Mayor of Wilmington, N. C. in 1766. Served as Captain in the
regient of Col. James Innes, which was sent in 1754 to Virginia to
fight the French and the Indians. County Commissioner and Member of
the Board of Aldermen of Wilmington, N.C.

7. Graduated with honors from the University of Ensle, Switzerland on
12-3-1720 with M.D. degree. Emigrated to Cape Fear and Wilmington,
N. C. about 1735. Served as Justice of the Peace and Director of the
Bank of Cape Fear. For may years Fort Physician (The above is from
