Archibald Maclaine of Wilmington, N. C., Revolutionary Patriot; Member of Congress at Hillsboro, Aug.,1775; Member Committee of Safety Wilmington District, 1776; drafted Act called Court Law 1777; died 1791.

Catharine Maclaine wife of George Hooper Loyalist, brother of Wm. Hooper "Signer." She is complimented in McRee's "Iredell, vol. 1, p. 395."

Mary Hooper, sister of Archibald Maclaine Hooper, married Jamed Fleming

Charlotte Fleming married Wm. Mercer Green, Bishop of Miss.
