Dear Bishop

In compliance with
your request that I would look
over the financial accounts of
the University and inform you what
amount was received in cash prior
to the war and the expenditure of
the same I enclose this statement
which I think is nearly accu-
rate. Nothing of any moment,
has been received since the war,
of from our old subscriptions. Several
thousand dollars have been Expen-
-ded by the University, received
from collections made by Bishop
Quintard for the purposes of the
[University?] & High School-and several
individuals have expended con
-siderable sums putting up
