formerly in possession of Mr Fairbanks, now is gone I presume, the following acct is made out a copy of which I enclose - against Bps Polk & Elliott. How the disbursements of Oct 12th were ascertained I am ignorant, unless from published report of that date, a copy of which I have not been able to secure. The other items I find are obtained through Col Barneys report, all of which I presume are correct as having been advanced to my Father individually - but the item of salary is in Error. In that, he should be [lev?] with only $5000 & Bp Elliott the other $5000. If appearing to be a joint acct, will you be kind enough to furnish me with copies of any statements that will throw any light on this matter, if you have any such, and also a copy of the printed report of Oct 12, 1860. Bp Elliot informed my Mother that he did not know the exact amount do my Father but that it
