The State of Alabama } Personally appeared before
Shelby County } me James Estill Justice of
the Peace for said County, Thos. J. Walker, one of
the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing deed, who
being first duly sworn deposeth & saith that he
saw the within named J. S. Walker sign and
seal the same & deliver the same to him to the
said Thos. J. Davis that he subscribed his name
as a witness thereto in the presence of the said
Jas. S. Walker and that he saw the other subscrib--
ing witness sign the same in presence of the
aforesaid J. S. Walker and in the presence of each
other on the day & year therein named.

Shelby County } presents that I, Christopher
Lolly, of the state & county aforesaid, have on
this day for natural love & affection which I
bear towards my two grand children Bradley
& James Lucas, heirs of my daughter Nancy
Lucas, wife of George Lucas of said county
and for diverse other causes [me] thereunto moving
give unto the aforesaid Bradley & James two cows
& calves, of the foregoing description to wit:
one black cow, marked with a cross and
neck in the left ear and swallow fork in
